In compliance with article 13 of legislative decree 196/2003 (hereinafter T.U.) concerning the personal data the law firm Studio Legale Miceli Avvocati will possess, we wish to inform you on the following:
1. Purpose of data processing
The sole purpose of processing is for the correct and complete execution of the professional order received, both in a judicial and an extra-judicial environment.
2. Modality of data processing
a) The data will be processed by means of the operations or operation complex indicated in art. 4 para. 1 letter a) T.U.: collection, registration, organisation, storage, consultation, development, alteration, selection, retrieval, comparison, use, interconnection, blockage, communication, cancellation, and destruction of data.
b) Operations may be carried out with or without the use of electronic or automated instruments.
c) Processing is carried out by the data controller and/or the authorized persons in charge of processing.
3. Data transmission
The transmission of familiar, sensitive, and judicial personal data is absolutely necessary for the purposes of carrying out the activities mentioned under point 1.
4. Refusing data transmission
Any refusal by the data subject to transmit personal data as set out in point 3. will make it impossible to carry out the activities mentioned under point 1.
5. Data communication
Personal data may be revealed to the authorized persons in charge of processing and may be communicated, for the purposes set out in point 1., to external collaborators, to subjects acting in the judicial sector, to counter-parties and their respective defence counsels, to members of an arbitral court, and in general to all those subjects which require such communication in order to be able to achieve the objective set out under point 1.
6. Data dissemination
Personal data is not subject to dissemination.
7. Data transmission overseas
Personal data can be transmitted to EU countries and non-EU countries for the purposes set out in point 1.
8. The rights of the data subject
Art. 7 of the T.U. grants to the data subject the right to exercise specific rights, including the right to obtain confirmation from the data controller of the existence or non-existence of his/her personal data and that data will be made available in an intelligible form. The data subject has the right to obtain indication of the origin of the data, of the ends and methods of processing, of the logistics applied in processing, of the identification details of the data controller and of those who may receive data. The data subject also has the right to obtain the updating, correction or integration of data, cancellation and transformation in anonymous form, or the blockage of data processed unlawfully. The data subject has the right to oppose the processing of data for legitimate reasons.
